What is Alofa?
What is Aroha?
Purely translated, they all mean “Love.”
However, in my humble opinion, Aloha, Alofa, and Aroha are so much more than just love; they are the the Vibrations and Spirits of Love that are native to Hawai’i, Sāmoa, and Aotearoa.
They are Specific Flavors of Love and the Consciousness thereof of Polynesia~Oceania.
They Hold and Carry the Consciousness and Culture of the Kānaka Māoli, the Tāgata Sāmoa, and the Tāngata Māori. Anyone who has ever visited our islands and the islands of the Pacific knows and understands that the Love of Our People is as Deep, Vast, Wide, Unique, Beautiful, Special, and Sacred as the Pacific Ocean is.
I created this sticker in Honor of Ke Aloha o Hawaiʻi (the Love of Hawaiʻi), in Honor of Le Alofa o Sāmoa (the Love of Sāmoa), and in Honor of Te Aroha o Aotearoa (the Love of Aotearoa).
I Created this sticker as a Celebration of Culture; as a Declaration of Solidarity, Pride, and Identity; as a Way to Spread the Cultural Consciousness and Healing Mana of the Sacred Islands of the Pacific with the World; and as a way to Honor my Ancestors and the Ancestors of these Islands.
